Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, has a favorite Bible verse from St. John 13:7: “Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.”
He says this verse reminds him to be patient, to work hard, and to keep God at the center of his life, no matter what challenges he faces.
Life is like a football game. We need to keep pushing forward, trusting in God even when things get tough. Although we may not see the results of our efforts right away, we can trust that God is at work.
As we look around the world, we can see events unfolding that align with what the Bible predicts. We are starting to understand what these events mean. We know that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and that he will return one day. If we remain patient, we will eventually see everything clearly.
The Bible also tells us in **Daniel 2:22, **“He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” This reminds us that God knows everything and will reveal his truths in time.
